I got free gratis  visa for Senegal.Senegalese  ambassador invited me into his office, shook my hand and gave me 10000 CFA Senegal money also.  He gave me some information about Senegal.  Nouakchott!One dusty and sandy city. When you will be in the Nouakchott city you don,t have to go to the beach.You will find sand everywhere.Hard to walk.Your shoes will sink in the sand.Bicycle pushing is another hard part of visiting that city. Another thing Nouakchott is very popular for is phone card selling on the street. I think this is one of the largest town selling phone card on the street.  Used phone cards are mixed in the sand every where on the street.  It took me two days to reach Senegal border from Nouakchott.  When I reached the border, it was almost 5.00 clock in the evening.When people saw me on my bicycle they came near me offering just about everything.  They were offering to change money, cross the border by boat, Immigration  etc.  One English speaking man brought a police officer to me.  He explained that if I give him 2000 CFA he will stamp my passport and get my boat ticket.  I believed thepolice man and gave him 2000 CFA..  Within two minutes the police man returned my passport with stamp.  There was a boat waiting for me .  I went to the boat  and loaded my bicycle.  The boat captain asked me for 2000CFA for crossing river. I told him I already paid boat charge to police.He told me that is for police.I was already in the boat. I ask him wait a minute.  I went to back police station.There wasn,t that police man who got my money.  I returned again to the boat and I gave the boat captain 2000CFA.  There were some people also on the boat who are touching my bicycle, like helping me .Within ten minutes we crossed the river and reached the Senegal border.  I carried my bicycle on my shoulder from the boat without giving the touts a chance to help me.  I got a stamp within minutes and went to customs. Customs officer asked me for 10000CFA To enter Senegal with Bicycle.There was  not any reason to pay for cycling in Senegal.  I ask him Why I have to pay that much money. He told me you are Asian passport holder.I didn,t understand what is the meaning of Asian , European and American passport holder.I told him I don,t want to pay that money without any reason.He told me if you don,t pay `go back to Mauritania`.It was near 6.00 clock.They told me that also they are going to close the border soon.  I begged him many times please give me free entry.  I showed him My files containing more then 200 news article from all over the world.  He didn,t look at my folder.I opened  my passport and showed him Senegal visa which I got free.He finally told me with very angry voice go back to Mauritania.Come again tomorrow.  It was raining, the Border was going to be closed.People are busy with carrying their belongings.  Nobody was going to support me on that land.  I thought If I go back Mauritania I have to pay again boat fare, Hotel tonight and I have to come back again  tomorrow.What can do If I return to Mauritania?I asked my self.  Nothing. He was holding my passport. I begged again the customs officer `I have a little money I can give 5000CFA`.His eyes turned around and he said ' do fast.'  His voice was like I did some thing wrong and I am going to gave his bribe. I want say him costom beger.He was not costom officer. Nobody was watching us .I gave him 5000CFA and got to enter Senegal.  When I got free visa for Senegal I thought it was a good sign for visiting this country.  Now I was only able to enter the country by paying a bribe.  This is a bad sign.  Which sign to believe?
